Top Management and all employees of PT Register Certification Management (RCM) have a high commitment to impartiality in certification activities, managing conflicts of interest and ensuring the objectivity of certification activities. In implementing Impartiality Management, PT Register Certification Management (RCM) will not:
- Certify organizations that own shares in PT Register Certification Management (RCM) or whose shares are owned by a certification body
- Offer or provide consulting services
- Offer or provide internal audits to clients it certifies
- Certify clients if the certification body has conducted an internal audit or self-assessment on the client within the last two years
- Certify clients who have received consulting services or an internal audit/self-assessment if the relationship between the consulting organization and the certification body presents a threat to the certification body’s impartiality
- Subcontract audit services to management system consultants because it constitutes an unacceptable threat to the certification body’s impartiality
- Market or offer services concurrently with the activities of the organization providing the consulting services
- State or imply that certification will be simpler, easier, faster, or cheaper if a particular consulting organization is used
- Provide assurance that there is no conflict of interest to personnel who have provided the consulting services, including those acting in a managerial capacity, if they have been involved with the client being handled within two years following the end of the consulting services; and
- Using internal or external personnel unless they can demonstrate that there is no conflict of interest.
Top Management and all employees are committed to realizing the objectives of this impartial management policy. If we violate this policy, we are prepared to accept all consequences.
